Rod believes that the sales professional is the life-blood of corporate America. The acquisition of the National Association of Sales Professionals was a natural next step for Rod and Envision U. With Rod's vision he sought to align strategic partnerships of talent and ingenuity to create the most impressive Professional Sales Associations in the world. Rod started his training career in the United States Military Naval Special Warfare. As a trainer of communications for the Elite Navy SEALs, he was intrigued with the people in Special Operations; how they thought, acted and dealt with stressful and dangerous situations. Working with the CIA, DEA, Navy Seals, and many other elite groups, his mission has been to bring the mindset of the best people in these units to the people fortunate enough to hear his message.
After 11 years of active military, Rod spent the next eight working with one of the most famous performance coaches in the world: Anthony Robbins. As Master trainer, Rod has presented several major programs for Robbins including "Discovery Camp," where Rod and his highly trained staff provided personal development sessions to 400 teenagers representing 4 different nations. This highly acclaimed program has been considered by the Discovery Channel and HBO family to be the basis for a documentary on successful youth leadership programs. Due to its success, in July of 2003, Rod again managed staff and served as lead presenter and facilitator for Discovery Camp 2003 for over 1000 teenagers.
Rod's passion for the sales profession continues to show world-wide in programs that support leaders, entrepreneurs and sales professionals of all industries. Tonia Revere
Membership Director
Tonia Revere manages the business operations, partner relations and program development of NASP. She brings a great deal of experience to her role from positions in sales, leadership and training in a wide variety of industries with one common thread – the need to influence others. Whether real-estate and mortgage sales, food service, education, marketing or elective procedures she quickly moved up the ranks to positions in management and training. In doing so, she has developed a well-rounded perspective and standard of excellence that she integrates in all aspects in her role.
Along with her work experience, she offers much strength to the organization in her various communication and creative skills: writing, editing, marketing and curriculum development. She received her B.A. degree from Oakland University in English with a concentration in Education and Communications.
Tonia was the project leader and co-creator of one of the most innovative, effective influence programs for surgeons in the US. She supported in the development of the program, wrote the training manual and led the implementation team to effectively integrating the program in 35 offices across the US with at least a 35% improvement in revenue and a 25% decrease in cancellations for each office.
Tonia is a compelling facilitator and committed to providing our members with exceptional value in our resources, certification, job opportunities and ultimately connecting people to a limitless network of creators and achievers. She is passionate about the vision, mission and growth of NASP creating the most powerful network in the world of certified sales professionals, resources and community exchange. Tonia’s flexibility, organizational skills and leadership allows her to be a pivotal team player and partner in three fast growing and successful organizations: NASP, Elite Coaching Community and Envision U.
Idris Grant
Vice President
Idris brings an extensive entrepreneurial history to the organization. His technical vision, innovation, and leadership have assisted him in building technology-based service organizations. He has successfully built and sold companies; his latest business was sold to a publicly traded technology service provider who is internationally recognized as a leader in collocation and "cloud" space.
His strategic and technical leadership has driven NASP to a whole new level, providing feature rich programming and networking capabilities. Idris is the "new NASP site" designer and driving force behind the entire project. He holds several technical certifications with several Technology Manufacturers and is known for helping to establish the backup services provider industry in the United States.
Rod Hairston and Idris have been friends, mentors, and coaches to each other for over 15 years. Their combined talents and vision have come together to create the most impressive Professional Sales Association in the World. With Rod's vision and passion for coaching excellence in influence-based training and Idris's strategic leadership in technology and design, they make a formidable team.
Idris's industry affiliations include YEO (Young Entrepreneurs Organization), NVTC (Northern Virginia Technology Council), Loudoun County chamber of commerce, CTO Roundtable(Sponsored by the Washington Post), and the SBA mentoring program.
Idris has taken a leadership role in engineering throughout his career. He also holds technical certifications such as MCSE, CNE, CCNA, and CNX, as well as a BS in Management Information Systems from Strayer University.
Amanda Ritz
Membership Director and Advisor
Amanda leads our member communication and community development. Her diverse background in management and customer service is the platform that supports her proactive approach in communication and culture development. Amanda leads her team to anticipate the needs of our member community, actively seeking ways to enhance communication, community interaction, offerings and member exposure.
Amanda's passion for learning and career advancement is evident in her varied educational focuses, studying in the fields of communication, psychology, arts, and applied sciences from Western University. Her passion for learning and training carries through on a personal level too; Amanda has been actively involved with the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership program for the past 10 years, supporting area youth in their team building and leadership skills.
Amanda sets a standard for NASP with her work ethic, flexibility and enthusiasm for anything that she puts focus on. Her belief in the NASP vision, community, sales profession, and member development makes her a vital force behind the growth of this organization.
Andrea Vanderveen
Senior CPSP Advisor
Andrea leads the advisor panel for the NASP Certification course. Having successfully guided thousands of members through the NASP Certification Course, Andrea is the most experienced advisor of the elite group of Certified Professional Sales Persons. Andrea has a passion for growing to her fullest potential in life and coaching others in doing the same. Andrea is a successful entrepreneur in sales and personal coaching. She met Rod Hairston attending an Envision U event in 2005 and became a student of 45 Day Challenge® program utilizing and coaching her clients to understand the science behind changing your identity to align with the results you're looking for in sales and leadership.
In 2007 Andrea joined Envision-U as an Advisor for the 45 Day Challenge® series and has since moved her way up to CPSP Senior Advisor for NASP. Andrea considered her promotion a great accomplishment and reflection in her ability to impact herself first and others second. She's most excited about the development and success of the CPSP community and the impact they will have in their world.
